The South Street Arts Centre in Katesgrove, Reading throw open their doors from 3pm on Saturday 23 November for their Beat Connection ‘all-day party’.

The bands playing at the event include JOHN, TVAM, Talk Show and YOWL.

Promoters Heavy Pop add:

Heading up the cream of local talent are Apple Music approved alt-rockers Mellor; skuzzy punk ‘n’ rollers Workin’ Man Noise Unit; lo-fi drums and synth soloist Despicable Zee; and alternative pop trio Chalk City. Also playing the on the day are psychedelic shoegazers Doops; noise rock three-piece Mythical Ash Cloud; drone-doom duo Cody Noon and psych-rock newcomers Meanwhile In Bat Country.

Food will be available from Tutu’s Ethiopian Table and vegetarian food from We Are Friends. Beat Connection is open to people 14 years or older and tickets can be purchased online.
